Wounded Warrior Project Veteran Retreat Program


Florida-based entrepreneur Adam Gerard Washousky has a diverse professional background in education, business operations, and customer relationship management. Adam Gerard Washousky is the proprietor of A-Team Operations, an online retail business that donates a portion of all sales to various charitable causes, including the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).

For more than 15 years, WWP has supported military veterans and service members who sustained physical and psychological injuries while serving in military operations occurring after the September 11th attacks. The organization delivers programming to support the over half a million veterans suffering from pervasive medical and mental health issues.

WWP launched its Project Odyssey veteran retreat to help returning soldiers recover from conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder and combat stress. Participants can elect to join single-gender or couple 90-day programs that combine therapeutic outdoor activities with counseling. After completing the program, participants can become alumni of WWP and gain access its extensive network of resources.
